NEW ORDER - Waiting For The Sirens

After the first few songs, I was ready to make some quips about how, for a band best known for its dabblings in #ElectronicMusic, they've become much less so over the years. Or how they now seem to have come down with U2-itis: polished studio #Rock with songs that would undoubtedly go great with an iPod commercial.

But sure enough, those old club-ready jams find their way in too. It may be but embers compared to the fires of past, but the heat's still there.
