KILLING JOKE - Outside The Gate
As said many times, it's not bad when a band changes things up some, but whoof, what the Hell happened here?
This is not a Killing Joke album - at least not as I've come to expect. Paul and Raven ditched the band, their rhythms replaced with suck-ass #80s production, while Geordie's guitars barely register. Jaz is fully front and centre, outright melodramatic like he's auditioning for an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Excessively gaudy, and not a good time.
