STEREOLAB - Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in the Milky Night

Even jazzier than the last. With a title like that though, I'm not surprised. Seems the band is entering its 'what else have we left to prove but to ourselves?' phase, getting quite indulgent in confounding time signatures and whatnot. There's still plenty of French Pop charm about, but definitely a more challenging record compared to the last few.

Still, nice hearing another of their lengthy, loopy drone-jams again!
