STEREOLAB - Margerine Eclipse

So one of the band's long-standing members, Mary Hansen, died in an accident, plus Gane and Sadier broke up. Yet album's not too morose and melancholic, then, at least than any of their other work.

In fact, they still make room for chipper, #DiscoPunk tunes, which makes sense for a mid' #00s record. I did notice the production felt a little askew, but apparently that was intentional, two masters recorded into opposite stereo channels. Always something different.
