STEREOLAB - Chemical Chords

Another solid outing of jaunty #jazz jams and French #Pop perkiness, still with an orchestra in tow. Nothing bad about it, but I dunno', I feel like the band is kinda' spinning wheels at this point.

Like, after nearly two decades of music-making, they've done about all they can in terms of innovation and evolution, so what's next? A break-up? A hiatus? Stereolab doesn't strike me as the sort of group who would be content just going through the motions, y'know?
