Some thoughts:

- yeah, yeah, how dare I rank his hyper-stylized #Downtempo albums so low - don't worry, I 'get' them, I'm just not impressed by them

- so I prefer 'Dumb-Tipper'; not the first time that's happened with an artist known for immaculate production

- was surprised Dave never returned to guest vocalists after his first album; could no one figure out how to sing over all the drippy effects?

- no, really, I understand how much psychedelics makes those sounds so visual, man
