THE ROOTS - Come Alive

This feels overdue. You're billed as a live #HipHop band, but it took this long to release a proper live album? Okay, I guess the debut album kinda' was one too, but you know what I mean.

I kid, of course, but what's funny is this does rather remind me of 'Organix'. I guess I'd gotten used to hearing the studio upgrades over the years. Going back to a (mostly) three-piece combo with rapping feels retro. Plenty of crowd interaction, but would have liked extended jams too.
