THE ROOTS - Phrenology

Sounds like the band's having a lot of fun in the studio with this one. #AcidJazz, #Soul, #Punk, #Dub, #Noise... even a #Techno closer, which was a real treat to hear (and definitely got me extra hype while 'sportsing').

In fact, I'd go so far to call this my favorite album from them, except for one problem: I don't think it's their best showing for #HipHop. Y'know, that thing they're primarily known for? The cuts are fine, sure, but some of it sounded too... early '00s.
