THE ROOTS - Undon

I normally go into albums fresh and raw, avoiding as much background detail as possible. Kinda' wish I'd done a little digging prior to this one tho'. For sure I could tell there was something conceptual going on here, but didn't quite appreciate just how much the band put into this 'reverse narrative'.

Instead, I was more enjoying it on surface levels, particularly hearing more street life reflections after that run of heavy #ConsciousRap and #Soul singers. Felt Roots Retro.
