At a time when many popular #Rock bands were feeling forced to go #80s, these guys resolutely stuck to the same ol' style they'd been playing for a decade.

And boy, are they ever trying to create some more crowd-pleasing anthems, but it's just not there. Forget what I said about appreciating the guitar emphasis, it's almost too much here. And why does Brian sound like he's singing from the far side of a football field? Still, kinda' enjoy it on the dumbest of levels.
