BOOM BOOM SATELLITES - Umbra

If this was your introduction to B.B.S., I could see you not realizing they come from Japan. The first two releases still had some influence from their homeland - like how Ken Ishii or DJ Krush have distinct Japanese traits in their music. Not so much here.

This sounds like a mash-up of UK #BigBeat and #Rocktronica, with a little Trent Reznor aggro thrown in for spice. Lots of fancy, funky drum programming without getting too deep into the #Braindance weeds of it.
